Very helpful staff. Off site location with free shuttle. Make sure to call the shuttle. Cheap rates because off site rentals companies are not charged the Airport tax. Possibly limited range of vehicles. We booked the smallest car possible and ended up being upgraded to a Dodge SUV free of charge. No up-selling at the counter. Just great service. Very happy with AUCAR

Good service but could be improved if a little explanation was given especially to first time visitors to Melbourne,like me. A little explanation on driving rules,tolls and parking in Melbourne would have helped a great deal. There was total lack of communication and personal touch to the service provided.

Like: I thought I was gonna be charged additional costs in renting the car. I was dubious with these sort of online bookings, to the extent that I booked with another company for another road trip just in case this one didn't go well. To my surprise, everything went really well and processes were quick, efficient and hassle-free. Highly recommended, very cheap and affordable.
