The car itself didn't get desired expectations relatively that was in the order.

Goldcar informed me insurance excess was fixed at €1600 and this could apply even for the smallest of damage. They almost insisted that I take extra insurance for €300+ addition. Hugely disappointing, especially as the car we got had many many scratches and issues that I had to take 12 photos on pick up.

Excess circumstances Should be made more clear at time of offer and booking.

We had a terrible experience at goldcar the lady at the desk was very condescending and not helpful at all after a long period of time about the Amex and insurance she was not helpful in any way. We then needed a moment so we stepped out so me and my wife could converse about the insurance deal that goldcar staff was offering and the lady at goldcar canceled the booking without are consent then she did nothing to help as we had just arrived from Toronto. So we are very disappointed and for future reference will never use goldcar So we had to rent with someone else and was a much better experience

5 minute queue which was fine. easy car pick up on first floor. drop off well signed. car inspected and confirmation email no added fees. i have used GOLDCAR many times and this was the slickest experience. thanks easyrent and goldcar.

Le blocage de la caution n'est pas possible avec une carte VISA et entraine le paiement obligatoire de 130€ supplémentaires. Les autres clients français se faisaient aussi avoir. Pratique malhonnête

Nous avons attendu beaucoup de temps avant d'avoir notre location la personne au guichet ne parlait pas français donc très compliqué à comprendre en plus nous avons pré réservé notre location quel ne fut pas notre surprise lorsqu'il nous a dis qu'on ne pouvait pas donner de caution et que nous allions être prélevé de 200€ enfin bref n'ayant pas totalement compris je dirais juste que cette expérience n'était pas très concluante
