When I arrived at the rental store to pick up the car, there was absolutely no one there. I tried calling several times but no one picked up. The store hours posted at the door said it was open until 6 PM. It was raining, and we were there with children late at night, so we had no choice but to have the hotel send a car to take the elderly and children back. Since no one answered the phone, we didn't know if anyone would come later. I called the car rental hotline, and the only response was to wait. I had an urgent matter the next morning and needed the car. After a long wait, I finally got through to a staff member who came over. Although the staff was polite, waiting that long in a foreign country with a closed store late at night was really unpleasant.
It's a small company and the car pickup process was a bit bothersome, they took a long time to check everything.
