Renting these items at the store can be expensive, and the staff will promote various packages. Additionally, if you don't buy the insurance package, a pre-authorization of 7500 AUD will be placed on your credit card, with a 2% bank service fee. These details should be clarified by the rental company. In the end, I had to buy another insurance package. I hope future renters understand these details to avoid redundant purchases.
