They unjustly charged a deposit. Both the rental company and I spent a long time communicating multiple times before they finally provided the so-called damage charge proof.
Service was average. The main issue is the requirement for an IDP; a standard Chinese driver's license with a translated copy is not accepted—not at all! This was not mentioned on the rental platform! Even though we purchased insurance online, they didn't recognize it. Moreover, they didn't accept the Chinese driver's license, and we had to pay nearly 100 euros extra per day for additional insurance to get the car!
