The car was new, with less than 3000 km on it. The initial deposit was just 500 RMB; I thought it was a mistake at first and confirmed it multiple times through text messages. The deposit was refunded the day after I returned the car (minus toll fees). During our 12-day road trip, the roads were well-constructed, wide, and not very crowded. Fortunately, we rented a small car, otherwise it would have been difficult to navigate in and out of small towns. Google Maps often directed us to very narrow roads in small towns. The toll fee was automatically charged through an HGS device, and gas stations offered free car washes.
Quite professional, but the English service involving insurance is not very convenient for someone with average language skills like me.
