When we arrived, we were told that the reserved car model was unavailable, and they offered to upgrade to an Audi for an extra charge. After declining, we received a Chery DR, which was not among the models we had booked. It was quite large, electric, and lacked navigation. Considering our travel plans, we eventually went back to the store to pay extra for a different car.
They only know how to charge for so-called local traffic office assistance fees. It has been 6 months, and they still haven't helped us with the fines. The local staff's attitude was very poor when returning the car. We still don't know what traffic rules we violated.
Terrible experience. I picked up the car in Seville and returned it at Malaga airport, and was scammed out of 30 euros. The return location at Malaga airport was inconsistent with the address in the manual provided by Europcar. The manual directed me to a private rental car street where I couldn't find Europcar. After asking several people, I finally found it in an underground parking lot, but nobody told me it was on level -2. It was extremely difficult to find and I wasted 45 minutes. They charged me an extra 30 euros because the gas tank was not completely full, even though I had refueled just before returning the car. The agent claimed I needed to pay 30 euros for almost half a tank or go out and refuel again! I had already spent a long time trying to find the return point and didn't have time to refuel, so I paid the 30 euros, almost missing my flight. It was an outrageous scam seeing me in a hurry. Because I had purchased full insurance, they couldn't find any other issues and just scammed me for the fuel. The manual they provided had the wrong return location and did not mention it was at level -2 in the airport parking lot. Awful European company! When picking up the car, they tried to sell me an upgrade, giving me a car with a very small trunk that could barely fit a 26-inch suitcase. They insisted on charging extra for a larger car and pushed additional insurance and GPS, even though I had already bought full insurance. They really just scam Asians!
We've got extra charges from final invoice.
Evnenthough it was existing damages from first time the pickup area!!
When we picked up and returned the car we couldn't get the professional check and information from the staff.
