I prepaid all costs including full insurance coverage through Zuzuche, only needing to pay an additional driver fee of 70 AUD on-site. However, they initially charged me 100 AUD upon pick-up, saying it was a deposit. After returning the car, they deducted another amount on-site. The bill they showed was 74.33 AUD, which I thought was the 70 AUD additional driver fee plus 4.33 AUD for Melbourne tolls. But later, I received an email from Avis showing net charges of 174.33 AUD, meaning they kept the previous deposit and fully deducted it.
The car pick-up process was simple, the vehicle's appearance and performance met the reservation requirements, the driving experience was great, and the vehicle was well-maintained, causing no extra trouble.
