Overall, both the pickup and return were quite okay, but the side mirror of the car was already broken and cracked. While driving on the highway, the cover flew off. In the end, they demanded we pay 1600 RMB for a side mirror cover. 1600 RMB for a side mirror cover?? That's daylight robbery. We specifically recorded a video during pickup showing the side mirror was cracked. But they insisted it was just scratched. Anyway, it's a total scam. It's my bad luck. Do not rent a car from this company. They're incredibly shady.
Car was almost brand new. But that’s the problem. So new that it is still in ‘Red’ number plate status. And it is a favourite for Thai traffic police to stop and check the car. True enough, I was stopped once and got fined 1000 thb for not updating the vehicle log(needed for red number plate vehicle). Although yesaway reimbursed me the fine, but bring stopped by Thai traffic police wasn’t a nice experience
