Goldcar representative at the airport refused to fulfill the rental contract terms and conditions and left us stranded without a car. Tried to insist that I had only paid a fuel deposit despite the rental company checking the terms for me days prior to the collection at the airport. Tried to get me to buy their insurance or pay another huge deposit for a small car. I would avoid this company with a bargepole in future. they didn't care that I had a child and was disabled

Easyrentcars were great in assisting me with my problem with Goldcar and booked another car paying the difference. I did have to go on another long trip the next day to collect but easyrentcars unlike goldcar were very helpful

I booked a Mercedes but they did not have one. I was given a Renault instead. If I knew that they did not have a Mercedes I would have booked a smaller cheaper car.
Also as I pucked up the car at Antalya airport and returned it at Izmir airport I was not familiar with the drop off location. Communication with helpdesk was difficult due to their proficiency in English. They could have provided a map during pickup as to where the car drop off location is. I spent half hour just looking for it

The counter staff insisted either to deposit big amount of money or purchase insurance with less money deposit.
I purchased insurance and deposited mone but till now I was not refunded.
I am not satisfied with staff service and how customer is tricked

Pros- OK car and good price.
Cons- Very pushy about purchasing the extra insurance at pick up. Went as far as lying to get us to purchase it. At the drop off we had to pay a "parking fee" when we returned the car in Izmir. We were never told we had to call the car rental company at the parking gate and therefore had to pay for parking.
Like: A quick, easy and cheap car rental makes for a great holiday. Many thanks. Dislike: Car rental drop off location is at terminal 1, my flight was at terminal 2, so was bit of a headache getting to the other side of the airport in a taxi/with luggage, no shuttle service. Other than this, everything else was fine.
