The phone number to call for pick up was a toll-free Australian number that did not work on our international cell phones. We had to find a payphone, figure out how to use it and call for a pickup. No one answered that cool. We had to leave a message. No information as to how long pick up would take and specifically where the pickup was We were able to ask at the information desk in the international terminal and they told us where the pickup was. We waited 20 minutes and I called again, this time finding out that the number was for Bargain Rental cars. Again I left a message. Finally they showed up and then told us that they had to go to the domestic terminal to pick up other customers. The whole process took over an hour from the time we made our first call to the time that we got to the rental car location.
No counter at airport, need to buy a local australia sim card to call the Bargain pick up hotline and leave your number for them to send you a SMS to go to pick up location.
Waited about 15min for pickup, and bus was almost full already.
Also, please have at least 30min buffer after drop off for the bus to send you back to airport with the limited transfer bus and distance to airport.
Other than this not-so-good pick up experience, everything else about the car is great.
Got charged for a whole tank of gas when only used half, discounted rate was offered but not properly explained that I had to pay for a whole tank! Thought it was just what was used at the slightly reduced price.
Work hard for my money, not really keen on just throwing it away when it wasn't explained properly.

Pick up and drop off were smooth. Had to wait a little while at the airport do be picked up, but not too long.
The little MG was adequate for my purposes, but I would not rush out and buy one. Could definitely tell MG has been taken over by chinese...

Smooth platform and did not spam me with eleventy million e mails and txts like some booking platforms do.
Car didnot meet my expectation. Vehicle wasnt washed and cleaned from outside. It was very dusty and had mud marks. Apple car play feature didnot work inside car. None of the staff could make it work which was terrible as I couldnt use navigation feature safely. Staff provided me with phone holder so that i could to use google maps on my phone. Which was very hard to see through tiny phone screen.
Outside condition of car was poor. Lots of dents, scratches and a front corner panel hanging off
When we dropped car off back gate was locked as they has broken the key in the lock so could not open the padlock.
We were not previously told of this and it was only that a staff member was in the yard moving a car that I got her attention and she told me that we had to return the car to the front of store.
Extremely terrible service! First of all, the shuttle driver who picked us up from the airport had a very bad attitude, coldly watching us handle our own luggage. Since there wasn't enough dedicated luggage space, I had to place two small suitcases on the back seat (luckily, the small suitcases survived). During the ride, all the passengers' luggage was piled up together, swaying and tipping over. When we arrived at the pick-up location, the driver deliberately opened the rear door suddenly, causing all the suitcases to fall to the ground. My large suitcase fell heavily from the top and cracked open (photo attached). When I asked the driver why he did that, he said he wasn't obligated to help us with the luggage. I told him he didn’t need to open the door that way and that I could have taken it down myself. After this, he went on to pick up other passengers waiting to go to the airport, and someone who claimed to be the manager started handling our case (we later learned he wasn’t the manager). This so-called manager kept giving excuses to shirk responsibility, without even a single 'sorry.' It was raining heavily that day, and with two kids in tow, we didn’t want to argue any further with such unreasonable people or this company. We decided to accept our bad luck. On the return day, neither of those two individuals was present. A female manager named Jacqueline assisted us; she had a better attitude. She later reported the damaged suitcase issue to her manager but said they couldn’t compensate, although she did apologize. Overall, the experience with this location was extremely poor!
Love the app. It made it easy to remember important information about rental company such as: name of rental company, dates, times, pick up location etc. I will use for many years to come.
There are usually not many people when I visit, and the queue takes about ten minutes to complete the procedures. The pickup location is outside the airport; you need to call customer service to request a shuttle bus and wait at the designated location. Waiting for the shuttle bus takes more than half an hour. A neighboring rental company mentioned that they dispatch buses roughly once per hour. Apart from the long shuttle wait time, everything else was good. During the rental period, our car experienced some minor issues, so we switched cars twice. The customer service team was quick and efficient in addressing the issue. Just a reminder: make sure to refuel the car before returning it, as the fuel surcharge is 4 AUD/L, which is quite expensive!
