I booked the car a week in advance, but the order was only confirmed 24 hours before departure. I almost had to book another car on Taobao... The staff was quite enthusiastic, but the biggest problem was that we clearly booked an automatic car. When we arrived at the store at 12 PM, we received a manual car and had to wait three hours for the automatic one. The car's left side mirror was damaged, and they tried to blame it on us when we returned it. Luckily, I had taken photos in advance to prove it wasn't our fault! Additionally, I paid a deposit of 1500 local currency when picking up the car, but my bank card indicated it was a charge, not a pre-authorization or hold. They said it would be refunded a few days after drop-off, but it's been a week and I haven't seen the refund yet!
