Fortunately, they sent a WhatsApp message, and my daughter speaks English, so we could connect. However, we had to wait for about half an hour on the roadside. Had to wait a further 10 minutes for him to arrive. Not as described in the pick up instructions. Car was generally fine (it had done nearly 70,000 km, but was troublesome to start, although it did usually eventually fire. Either needed a full charge or a new battery. Informed the rental agency. Very disappointing that rental company's policy is to hold on to my deposit (€650) for 28 days even though there is no question of the car being damaged in any way. I don't see why my money should be earning interest in their account for a month.
9.7 Overall good despite a car issueThe unlock button on the key fob for my car did not work, which I wasn’t told about when picking up the car. It led to the car alarm going off every time I manually unlocked the car. Luckily I sorted it out myself, but would have liked more help from the car rental on this.- 10 "Excellent"The service was excellent. The staff was very polite and even upgraded the car. I had to call the store to get the new address as QEEQ had not updated it.
