The store explained that Colorado state law requires additional insurance.
Also, extra toll fees were added, with two options: $15 per day or $10 per day for actual toll charges.
Due to the time it would have taken to contact the rental car company, I had to reluctantly accept these charges.
Waited about half an hour to pick up the car.

10 good vehicle and easier than imagined drop off.Strange occurrence. We originally requested a Toyota Corolla but as we reached the gate the car couldn't be allowed to leave the lot and the gateman gave us a Rogue Sport which worked well for the entire 9 day use.- 8 Pushy salespeople, tiny carPushy obnoxious sales person, the type that makes you uncomfortable. He pushed a LIT insurance, that I still can’t find if it is or not true that it is requiered by Colorado State Law... The car was really small. The only reason we could fit 1 large and 1 small suitcases was because nobody was in the back seat.

Dislike: All of the rental cars in the fleet (Intermediate) were pretty badly scratched up and dinged but there was no inspection of the car before we left. We had to point that out to the security person at the gate before we went the lot, to make sure that we wouldn't be blamed later. 
2 From Denver to the Ski ResortThe service was rude and they pressured us to upgrade our car with unclear charges.- 8 Decent value.Like: Picking up and dropping off the car was quick and easy. The car was in decent shape and had low miles.
Dislike: Evidently the on line rental service I used was a European company. The rental agent told us we needed an international license at first. Then told us he would let it slide. Really? What difference did it make who set the rental up? And when I am getting the car you are going to try to charge more? - 10 Exceeds expectations!Like: Super friendly check-out. Quick! Car better than expected. everything went smoothly. Rolled into to drop off and Aeseret had me up and on my way in minutes. Shuttle was waiting to go back to the airport. Thanks so much!
