The original car that was rented (VW Jetta) had very stained cloth seats. Fortunately, we were given the choice of another car (Chevy Cruze) which was acceptable.

Generally satisfactory. Only issue was that the booking confirmation given to me never appeared in Thrifty's website causing me to wonder if the reservation was legit. In the end all worked out.
Locating the car in the car class we selected was a challenge. We were told to go to "Area 7" to pick out our car. There were multiple 'Area 7s" for a number of the car companies. We had to ask which "Area 7" belonged to Thrifty. When we got to the proper location, there was one car left. What would have happened if there weren't any cars left? Would we have had to pay for an upgrade?
