I have used all of the major hire car companies in South Africa over the past 2 years and this was my first time with Woodford.
The Staff are so efficient (Justus especially)! nothing took time, no nonsense and the car was in great condition exactly as Id booked.
Drop off was easy and no hidden charges or pressure to buy additional insurances.
Id really recommend Woodford for car hire in Johannesburg... unbeatable!
Great service, Car was basic (no radio/bluetooth) but that's fine for south Africa! Note- they require licenses that show an issue date of at least 3 years, which could be a limitation for Canadian licenses for example which don't show the original issue date. Nonetheless the counter staff were very helpful

I appreciate it sits within the ECONOMY category but the Renault Qwid is just a terrible car! I would expect this to be sitting in the lower MINI category.
Had to wait nearly a hour even though there was only 3 people in front in the queue. The whole process it way too long and the counter staff where so slow.
Like: Quick, efficient and affordable. Dislike: I hired a Mercedes c class and got a BMW X1. I assumed I would get at least a car of the same make.
