The store is right at Christchurch Airport, very conveniently located. However, I booked a Toyota Prado but was given a Highlander instead, claimed to be a similar model. It's a pity I couldn't go off-roading. On the plus side, it saved on fuel and money. Returning the car was very easy, just parked it and handed over the keys, no inspection was done.
The service was acceptable, but they gave me a hatchback. The booking showed a sedan, likely a Corolla. The hatchback had less power, so the air conditioning didn't work well. Driving on the mountainous roads in New Zealand's South Island was unstable with the small car. I wouldn’t have booked it if I had known it was a hatchback.
