The provided car did not match the one I reserved. The description mentioned it could fit three suitcases, but it could only fit one 24-inch and one 20-inch suitcase. They kept trying to upsell me on a car upgrade and insurance. The car had many scratches on the driver's door.
The queue wasn't too fast. They offer multilingual services but not in Chinese. For those good at English, it’s not a problem. They don't appear to offer free upgrades, but they try to sell paid upgrades, which you can decline if you don't want. Make sure to thoroughly check the car and take photos of any scratches and confirm them with the store. This is very important because even if the car has scratches, they might not be listed on the slip, and you won’t have proof if you overlook them. The car interiors were very clean, which was good. Additionally, the car's performance was excellent, and the vehicles were relatively new.
Ordered Peugeot Van or similar, but was given a Seat Arona at pickup, asked to swap as needed a bigger boot size, so car was swapped to Toyota Verso which had a much bigger boot. Car was damaged on 2 panels, but that was not an issue. Less than £300 held on my card whilst renting. Had my own 3rd party excess insurance which was fine. Have used Europcar in the past multiple times and never had a problem. Would use again without hesitation.
