The store at the east entrance of Munich train station had my car ready when I arrived. They didn't mention any additional insurance, and I just filled out the information and picked up the car. The rental cost over 290 euros, and a deposit of 300 euros was taken.
Europcar is okay, but the cars I get from them are often below my expectations. This time I received a Volkswagen T-Cross, which wasn't even listed, so I had to reluctantly choose a Volkswagen Golf. Could you tell me if the car class was downgraded? If so, can I request a refund?
Germans are very punctual. I booked a car for 2 PM, but when I arrived at 1 PM, there was no car available. I had booked a Volkswagen but got an Opel of the same class instead.
