I rented a car from Enterprise, and it was very dirty. There were splashes of liquid on the screen that hadn’t been cleaned. On the Amalfi Coast in Italy, the tire broke. I called roadside assistance four times. The first three times they told me to wait for a text message, but nothing ever happened. Every time I called, it felt like the first time—it seemed like they didn’t have any records of my prior calls. Each time, I had to start from scratch! After the fourth call, I finally received a text message. An hour and a half later, a flatbed truck arrived, and we—along with the car—got on board. On the narrow mountain roads, the driver sped furiously for half an hour—it was more thrilling than a roller coaster! The driver was completely reckless! When we got to the destination, he inserted a tire plug to fix it. That was it! He then charged me 30 euros in cash and, upon my request, wrote down the amount. When I returned the car, they refused to reimburse me. Also, when picking up the car, I realized the premium insurance I bought via Zuzuche had a deductible over €9000, so I reluctantly purchased true full coverage insurance for over €30 a day, just for peace of mind. However, this €30 was also non-refundable. I felt like I wasted an entire afternoon and made so many calls. Luckily, the local Italians I encountered were quite friendly and helped me report the location in Italian four times. I was fortunate to have purchased a local SIM card, which allowed me to make calls and receive texts. The 4G card I bought in China couldn’t make calls and had terrible signal quality. Everyone, pay attention to avoid these pitfalls! Without the ability to make calls, I would’ve been completely stuck. Of course, good English is necessary to understand the Italian accent. If you know Italian, you can ignore this comment.
Overall, it's quite good. The car pickup point is at a corner of Milan Central Station. Look for the Blue Elephant car rental; the three companies are together there. Remember to attach a photo to the QEEQ white form, otherwise, the staff will ask you to take one, and the photo booth is at the metro transfer area of the train station. They will ask if you need insurance, but if you say you have already bought it, they won't ask again.
This company has only one counter, so you need to wait a bit.
