Overall service was satisfactory, but during pickup, the staff seemed to treat us differently. We had two families renting cars, and at first, they tried to push me to upgrade. When I refused, I ended up with a Series 1 car, which was very small and not the specified SUV model. However, my friend with the same reservation was upgraded to a Series 3 for free. The only apparent difference was that I was served by a South Asian staff member. Everything else was fine.
I prepaid the full amount when I booked through Zuzuche, but when I arrived at the store, the staff said I hadn't paid. The money was taken by Zuzuche but not given to the car rental company! Using the lack of prepayment as an excuse, they refused to give me the car I originally reserved and downgraded it to an Audi A5. I couldn't reach Zuzuche for help. After arguing at the store for 2 hours, the staff reluctantly gave us a Mercedes E-Class (which should have similar space as an Audi A6). It wasted a lot of our time and ruined our mood.
They told me they would have my £200+ deposit back in my account in 1 week, it has now been over 2 weeks and it still hasn't shown up!!
NOT HAPPY!!!
