I've always been quite satisfied with AVIS. Although I never get the exact car model I reserved due to availability, they always provide an even better vehicle, which is commendable.
Hidden insurance fees were not disclosed by the staff. They concealed this from customers. The customer service was unhelpful, making me suspicious they might be colluding for profit. I will not use their services again.
They didn’t come with me to inspect the car. This made the process quicker but I was worried they would think that I had scratched the car in places it already was. Also, the fast pass for toll lanes didn’t work. They should have provided much more clear instructions on how to use this.
