The store at the terminal was inexplicably closed, so I had to find the airport shuttle myself to go to the P3 parking lot. It delayed me by nearly an hour. Returning the car was convenient. The deposit for the return has not yet been refunded; further evaluation will be added later.
Like: I enjoyed my visit to Italy, & was happy with the vehicle, I was finally provided with:-)! Dislike: Couldn't have the car I originally reserved (Audi Q5) as it required having 2 CCs (both in the name of driver), or a Platinum level card (at a stretch) would have been acceptable. Hertz advise this is part of the T&C's on their website, for "Premium" cars, which this was. This needs to be made clear on your website! Instead they provided us with Mercedes GLC220, which I believe is almost the same in value. Go figure!!
On the last day of rental the metal facia attached to the fuel hatch, "fell off" while in transit, back to the airport. It was my opinion (being a Mechanical Eng), it was, at best a vehicle defect, or at worse, a botched replacement. See photos & form your own opinion:-)
Nonetheless I was charge 140e for its repair. Currently appealing this with Hertz
