I had booked for a guaranteed VW POLO but avis insisted that they dont provide guaranteed cars and after an EXTENDED back and forth i was provided with a VW VIVO .
Very friendly and personal staff. Had a bit of a wait during pick up as there was a shift change, leaving one attendant at the counter for about 20 minutes.

There were quite a few people in line. After check-in, they said the car was being cleaned, so the wait was a bit long. But we used that time to grab some coffee, get a SIM card, and withdraw some cash, so it was okay. The counter was very large and looked professional. The parking lot was right next to the counter, and it was indoors, which was very convenient!
The service attitude was great, no upselling, and the location was easy to find. Returning the car was also smooth. The car was excellent—almost brand new with only 3,200 kilometers on it. A deposit of over 3,000 ZAR was held when I picked up the car; I hope it will be refunded without issues. However, there was one problem: I had booked an automatic car but was given a manual one. At first, I didn’t notice and spent some time trying to figure it out. Only after realizing something was wrong did I return to the office to ask, and they replaced it for me. This kind of issue had never happened to me before.
The service was excellent, the staff at the counter was very patient and detailed in explaining the terms and conditions. Returning the car was very convenient, with clear and obvious signage that made it easy to find.
