Considering this was during a COVID-19 pandemic, everything went pretty smoothly. I only have three small remarks: the inside of the car wasn't clean, the blue chip they asked us to return was taken by the parking machine right on our way out (at pickup) and I still haven't received my deposit back. I assume this is due to the fact the drop-off was done contacless, so it'll take them a bit more to check things.
Extremely unprofessional staff trying to exploit us during the COVID situation to charge extra for early drop off. ( you read that right , dropping early costs you more than twice the original rental). What’s worst you pay 20% VAT ON THAT
When picking up the car in Innsbruck, Austria, the female staff member insisted that I pay extra for a rental deposit insurance, about 30 euros. When I refused, her attitude became very unpleasant.
Was not clearly stated that there was a €45 airport terminal pick up fee during booking and after rental. Was only advised after we dropped the car off.
The store is very close to both Innsbruck and Salzburg train stations, making pickup and drop-off very convenient. I booked a BMW X1, but it wasn't available, so I got a same-category BENZ instead, which was also very good to drive.
The website mentioned everything was included, but at the site, we were charged nearly 5000 RMB extra. There were many hidden costs, including airport taxes and the charge for returning the car at a different location. Being abroad, we had no choice but to pay. Very disappointing.
