Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 10:50 PM, but the app stated that the counter closed at 11:00 PM. I consulted QEEQ's customer service, and they assured me someone would still be at the counter, so I went ahead and made the booking confidently. To be on the safe side, I chose Hertz, and it turned out to be either good luck or excellent service from Hertz, as someone was indeed there when I arrived at 11:30 PM. The only other staffed counter was Europar. Arriving late had its perks, though. After a brief friendly chat, I was genuinely grateful, as I needed to meet a client 100 kilometers away in Villingen the next day. The kind lady upgraded me to a 20,000-kilometer Alfa Romeo SUV.

The Europcar staff provided detailed explanations. I originally booked a Hyundai I30, but it was unavailable at the rental location, so they provided a Jeep Renegade instead. The car was in excellent condition—clean and tidy—exceeding expectations.

Not good. The staff was indifferent and careless, claiming my passport was expired after looking at my Japanese visa. They insisted on having me sign the contract without explaining the deposit and charged more than the app's displayed cost, showing obvious displeasure. The car I picked up still had trash left by the previous renter. If possible, avoid using this company.

The overall experience was excellent. The car provided was very good and met expectations. I will choose this company first for future rentals.

Do not book from this company, it is full of traps — each issue is different. First rental period: July 25, 2024 - August 23, 2024 Second rental period: August 23, 2024 - September 5, 2024 1. During the first rental, the staff informed us that the fee for adding a second driver would be capped at 50 euros, which sounded reasonable. So, we changed our second booking from another rental company to Flex to Go. However, when it came time to add the second driver for the second rental, they said it would cost 13 euros per day, totaling 168 euros for 13 days. Normally, rental companies have a fee cap for second drivers, usually around 60 to 80 euros. This was the first trap. 2. On the very first day of the second rental, the warning light came on, indicating low tire pressure. We checked it at a gas station and found the pressure was fine. On the sixth day, another warning appeared saying the car needed oil and was due for maintenance, with a driving limit of only 300 km remaining. We headed to the nearest Flex to Go location in Nuremberg to exchange the car, which took two hours. Yet, the company did not send us a new contract after the car exchange. After two days of follow-up through Zuzuche (their platform), we received a very perfunctory contract from Flex to Go, which did not include details like scratch information for the vehicle. Luckily, we had documented all scratches with photos and videos. 3. On the fifth day of the second rental, the front desk staff who had originally served us called, accusing us of entering Czechia without paying the cross-border fee. I confirmed that we had not traveled to Czechia, but they insisted we had been “abroad” and charged us 600 euros. The next day, we went to the Nuremberg Flex to Go branch and checked the car's GPS, which showed that the car entered Czechia on June 1, 2024. However, we were not the ones who went there—yet they still held us responsible for it. The front desk's confusion meant that this penalty was actually related to the first rental, not the second. 4. During the first rental, we paid the cross-border fee, but due to the staff's negligence, we were only marked for Zone 1. The countries we visited were also included in Zone 2, which led to a penalty of 600 euros.

The service was excellent and the staff were friendly.

The car we got was quite new, with only a bit over 9,000 km. However, the staff seemed a bit inflexible (possibly because the car wasn’t ready yet). We arrived at 2:30 PM for a 3 PM reservation, but they didn’t allow us to pick it up until 3 PM. On the bright side, we mentioned having insurance, and they didn’t try to upsell anything else.

First time I’m using diesel car not aware that I’ve to add adblue. Cause some anxiety during journey. I was not informed during pick up .

The counter staff did not understand that charging the car on the return would be problematical.

We waited more than 40 minutes to pickup the car. There was only one person helped with that process, not enough for the amount of the people that was waiting.
