Hertz is a big company and generally quite good. The staff spoke Chinese, so communication was smooth. However, I didn't get the car model I booked; I got a smaller one. Not sure how Zuzuche handled the booking????
The staff at the store were very enthusiastic, and most of the service instructions were clear. The car exchange at Melbourne Avalon Airport could be improved a bit.
A toll fee of 5 dollars was charged an extra 33 dollars as a management fee by Hertz. They are really ripping off Chinese customers, knowing you won't dispute it once you return to your country. This really leaves a bad impression of Australia.
Hertz is a big company and generally quite good, but make sure to refuel before returning the car because Hertz's fuel prices are twice as high as outside! I reserved a Highlander, but they only gave me a RAV4.
I clearly booked a 'large SUV Toyota Kluger or similar,' but was given a Nissan X-Trail. Although both have five seats, they are different in size. Hertz said they allocate cars based on seating capacity and claimed the rental website didn't explain this clearly. At the time of booking, the price for the Nissan X-Trail was lower than the Toyota Kluger. Due to the long queue and time constraints, I had to settle for it. Very dissatisfied.
