It took a long time to pick up the car, but the return was quick.
They forced us to buy insurance even though we already had it bought domestically. Both drivers picking up two cars were listed on both forms, and one was marked as co-driver. How can Driver 1 be the co-driver of the second car while driving their own? The rental company later helped me get a refund for these charges.
Additionally, we recently faced another issue: we rented the car in February and received a fine in September. The authorization charge was not canceled, and we are currently in contact with the rental company.

Excellent service but the small car (Lancia Y) was probably the cheapest option available in Italy to match the category I booked for, lacking accessories now taken for granted (Android Auto / Carplay integration, for example). Maybe Sicily By Car is a bit understaffed at Alghero airport but I did not wait too long.
