Hertz has many branches across the US and offers better service compared to other brands. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, and we didn't experience any inconvenience during the pandemic.
I followed the instructions to return the car and received a bill with no additional charges, but my credit card was repeatedly charged at midnight for two consecutive days without any explanation or invoice. I have no idea what the charges are for, and neither Hertz nor the car rental platform have responded after a week! It feels extremely risky to authorize my credit card to them! The car was in good condition, but how can this unauthorized charge issue be resolved?
Overall quite satisfied, but the highway toll system in the US is a bit confusing. The lady at the counter wasn't very knowledgeable about the car, and didn't know what type of fuel to use (it's also not indicated on the fuel cap).
Like: I really love the brand new Chevrolet Malibu I was given for my vacation to the USA. Dislike: Nothing really.
