When upgrading you shouldn't change vehicle basics like electric / combustion engine without notifying this when the vehicle is picked up. We we're going to places without possibilities to charge and hence specifically had ordered a combustion engine (we at home drive electrically, so this would normally be our choice, if just possible)
1- My flight arrived early by half an hour, and they didn't allow me to pick up the car. The reservation was for 6 PM, and the return was scheduled for 7 AM in two days, but they charged me for a full three days and even made me queue up again.
2- The staff was unfriendly. They added extra insurance for damage and roadside assistance to the invoice. I told them I didn't need it, and they finally canceled it. They told me they added it because you can't buy such insurance abroad.
3- I've rented cars abroad multiple times. Typically, if the same class of cars are not available, they offer a free upgrade. This time, they downgraded me. I hurriedly drove the car out of the airport, only to realize later that I had booked a Ford Focus but was given a Ford Fiesta. After checking on the rental platform, it was indeed a downgrade. Complaining only led to a reconsideration.
In summary, this was the most disappointing car rental experience I've had abroad, and it was my first time using this rental platform. Using an agent made me feel inferior. In the future, I will book directly myself. Also, never use Budget again!!
El auto estuvo muy bien, espacioso y mejor tamaño que el inicial que escogí , pero lo único que no estuvo bien , es que estaba sucio, no lo lavaron por fuera y por adentro y
No podia ver por los retrovisores de lo sucio .
