I had reserved a Toyota Camry, but upon arrival, I was told to choose between a Honda HRV and a Toyota CHR, which meant being downgraded from a mid-size sedan to a compact SUV—three levels down. When I asked why, they said there were no Camrys available, even though there were Camrys parked in the lot. In a rush to keep to my schedule, I chose the Honda HRV instead of arguing with the staff.
Booked a Camry but got a Yaris instead. Hertz claimed there were no cars available and refused an upgrade to a bigger car. We almost couldn’t fit our luggage. Bad experience.
