This time, I rented a car from the AVIS location at Boston Airport, and it was the worst car rental experience I've ever had in the U.S. The staff at the location had a very rude and unfriendly attitude, and their customer service was extremely poor. I will never rent a car from the AVIS Boston Airport location again and will also remind my friends to be cautious.
We had to wait in line for almost an hour. The Avis employee added road assistance insurance and a tank of gas without informing us. We made her remove the road assistance from the bill. She then added an extra charge of seventy to eighty dollars for automatic tolls (like ETC). Even though we understand English, we had to ask her to remove that too, and she looked very unhappy!! We originally booked a Citroën but were given a two-door, gas-guzzling American red car instead, which was really unfair!!!
