The management is chaotic. Despite knowing the rental plan for 31 days covering nearly 15,000 kilometers, they still provided a vehicle that required routine maintenance. Midway through the trip, they called the customer, who was 500 kilometers away, urging them to return to Budapest for a vehicle swap, wasting the customer's time and increasing fuel expenses. The replacement vehicle looked pristine on the exterior but had poor conditions mechanically. The tires were excessively worn, with previous repairs using adhesive strips failing, leaving no spare tire available. Additionally, the liquid tire sealant couldn't fix the issue, leaving us to wait for roadside assistance. Out of four tires, three had to be repaired, which wasted an entire day.

I am extremely dissatisfied. I arrived on time at 9:00 to pick up the car I reserved, only to be told that the model I booked was unavailable. They said I could upgrade by paying an additional €18 per day or some other amount. I explicitly stated that if they didn't have the car and needed to change the vehicle, I agreed, but I would not pay any extra cost. The staff proceeded to prepare the paperwork without clarifying and asked me to sign it. Later, I realized that the document specified additional upgrade fees totaling over €200 in the bottom left corner, but I didn't notice it at the time and signed. The upgrade fee wasn't needed when returning the car, and I only discovered the charge on my credit card statement a week after returning home. This is outright fraud. I've rented cars in Europe numerous times, and this is the first time I've encountered such an experience. Truly disappointing!

I purchased basic insurance and, out of respect, honestly reported the damaged side mirror. After discussing with the staff, the compensation was estimated at around 280 euros. However, after returning home, I found out it had been directly raised to 980 euros, which is the exact deductible amount for basic insurance. Isn't this a scam? A side mirror for a Volkswagen Touran costing that much—how much does the whole car even cost?

The fuel tank was not full at the time of handover. After raising the issue, we were told that the gauge would show full after starting the car a few times, but even after several attempts, it still wasn't full. Upon further discussion, the staff became impatient and claimed the tank was just refueled and it was impossible for it not to be full. They even suggested we go to the gas station ourselves to check if it was full. We were in a hurry and didn’t have time to argue further, so we had to leave.

Carwiz experience wasn't bad, since it was a car hire for six days, and with young kids so therefore I wanted the safest routes. Pick up had a few issues. Drop off was fine. Only one staff member behaved slightly off-color, but probably he was having a bad day.

Local rental company. Booked a Peugeot 3008 but got a compact SUV from Skoda. The car was in good condition, with low mileage. Good power and reasonable fuel consumption. It had CarPlay, which made it convenient for listening to music and using navigation.

Originally scheduled for 12:00, but called the front desk at 10:00. Initially, the attitude wasn’t great and they told us to call back later. However, the front desk called us back after 15 minutes to arrange pickup. When we arrived at the rental office, the process was quick with no queues and no hard sell on insurance. The service was very friendly. We got the car early and our return time was extended by one hour.

A very good car rental company with a nice owner. The car was in good condition with just over 60,000 kilometers on it. After returning the car, the owner personally drove us to the airport and gave each of us a big hug.

When picking up the car, they explained the insurance process. Initially, I thought they were trying to sell me something. I told them I already purchased insurance, which was offered by their rental company (QEEQ package). They clarified that the insurance was actually from the website, but it didn’t matter—they said that in case of an incident, they would charge my deposit first, and then I could reimburse through Zuzuche. It was simply an explanation of the process without any pressure to upsell. We traveled through seven countries with a one-time border crossing fee of €199. They patiently explained which countries had toll booths and where vignette stickers were required. The car had a quarter tank of fuel at pickup, and it was the same requirement when returning it. The whole process was incredibly smooth (despite a minor scratch).

We arrived late at night and without being able to reach anyone at the car rental it took us a long time to find the place. Once we arrived there was 1 sleepy attendant that took his time and wasted over a half hour just to fill out paper work. Once paperwork was signed he came with us to the parking lot and made us sign a paper that we inspected the car. But in a pitch black lot with no lights it’s impossible to see any minor damages at 2am. When we returned the car 1 day later 2 attendants came out to inspect the car and claimed to have found a scratch under the car that you can only feel with your hands (not visible to the eye) HE ASKED US TO PAY 177 EURO FOR DAMAGES. WHEN WE REFUSES HE THREATENED US TO CALL THE POLICE AND STOP US FROM LEAVING THE COUNTRY WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY HIM

I picked up the car with an empty tank. I was not given an option and had to fill the car immediately. I was told not to worry bring the car back empty as well. On bringing back the car empty I have now been charged extra for fuel !!!

The wait time was acceptable, but the staff's attitude was very cold and there was almost no service. It was far from the good experiences I've had with other companies in the past. No one inspected the car when we picked it up; they just told us the parking spot number and we had to find it ourselves. The parking garage required a card for entry and exit, but we weren't informed beforehand. We drove to the exit and couldn't get out, then asked someone else and had to return to the rental office to inquire about the card.

The company always recommends models different from what I booked. This isn't the first time. They attract customers with low prices and then upsell more expensive options. This company is very shady, more so than rental companies in other countries. Their attitude towards Chinese customers is quite unfavorable, and it feels like a scam.

They immediately said they were going to freeze 10,000 RMB as a security deposit. Alternatively, we could buy insurance that costs 50-100 euros per day. They also mentioned that if there were damages, we would have to pay a certain amount, which made us very nervous. We frequently rent cars elsewhere and no company has ever frozen such a large amount! When picking up the car, the staff were not very clear about existing damages. Because 10,000 RMB was frozen, we inspected the car very carefully on the spot. Some damages were not even noticed by the staff. In other words, if we didn't point them out on the spot, they might blame us for them when we return the car and charge us!

The car didn't have a full tank of gas when I picked it up. I took a photo as proof and filled it up before returning it, and took another photo. When I asked how they'd resolve this, they said I didn't mention it at the time, and the person who helped us wasn't there. I thought it was full-to-full, but it wasn’t. I ended up spending an extra 100 RMB on gas. It's not a big deal for a trip, but it does make me question your integrity!
