When returning the car, there was no one in the parking lot to check it. A staff member said someone would check it later, and then I had to rush to catch my flight. My credit card was later charged 35 NZD for a fuel difference. I had refueled the car before returning it and only drove a few kilometers. The rental company charges you without negotiation.
No Chinese service at pickup, making communication difficult, especially when dealing with accidents. There is Chinese service at dropoff, making it simpler.
The car's condition was well-maintained, and the service process was standard. However, the overall rating is mediocre due to a dispute. During the return at Christchurch Airport, the rental company's staff only asked if the car was returned with a full tank; no other checks were performed. I had to proactively ask if an inspection was needed, to which the staff responded no, just park the car in the designated spot. Later that evening, I received an email from the rental company stating that they found scratches and would withhold the entire deposit. Since I was driving on the left side, I was extremely cautious to avoid any accidents. The unconfirmed scratches and the subsequent charge made the rental experience rather unpleasant.
I feel tricked by this company. They charged me for a full tank of gas and said they would refund it if I returned the car with a full tank. But when I returned the car, they said the refund wasn't possible.

We have booked the car for 2 days, before we confirmed the booking it was mentioned that we are guaranteed a Toyota Rav4. It was never mentioned OR A SIMILAR VEHICLE, however we were not given the car model guaranteed to us. Please find attached screenshots for booking.
