Having traveled to 30 countries, this is the worst car rental experience I've ever had, without exception. Budget first gave me a very dirty car (automatic transmission) with an empty fuel tank, and told me I could return it empty. Excuse me?? I know about full-to-full and full-to-empty policies, but I've never encountered an empty-to-empty policy. Moreover, I've never received a dirty car before. I negotiated with Budget and requested a replacement of the same model. Initially, they were very rude and told me there were no similar cars available. After insisting several times, they found a similar car. This car started shaking violently after just 5 kilometers, which I judged to be caused by unbalanced wheels. I returned it and requested another replacement. They claimed there were no more models available. I spotted a similar model nearby and they told me it was a manual car. I agreed to take that one and asked for a refund of the difference. They refused, saying my order was for an automatic car. After multiple calls to customer service, they finally agreed to refund the difference between the automatic and manual cars. The entire process took two hours!! Never again will I rent from Budget, and I'm seriously questioning the management of the Zuzuche platform!! I hope both the platform and Budget reflect on this.
