When returning the car, there was no paperwork signed or report given. After returning home, I received an unidentified charge of EUR404 on my credit card. Rental company failed to contact the car rental service successfully and after two weeks, there was no proactive follow-up to get the report. The car rental service or the rental company might be involved in fraudulent activities.

The service was very poor. Despite agreeing on no additional insurance, they added it. They also forced an upgrade on the vehicle, claiming that my reserved model was unavailable. This resulted in an extra expense of over 200 euros.

Since the store didn't accept Visa cards with a UnionPay logo, our original reservation couldn't be completed. We rented two station wagons and encountered the same issue. Luckily, the third person in our group had a single-currency Visa card and also had a driver's license and translation booklet. The rental company managed to arrange an 8-seater Ford van for us instead of the two cars, accommodating all seven of us. We rented the car directly at the counter. We had a lot of luggage, so it was a bit cramped, but at least we could hit the road. Otherwise, our planned self-driving trip for the next ten days would have been disrupted. The staff at the car rental company was very patient and friendly and took two hours to sort everything out. After negotiating with QEEQ, and with a written statement from the car rental staff, QEEQ agreed to a refund because it wasn't specified that dual-currency cards wouldn't be accepted. Although it took some time to communicate after returning home, QEEQ fully refunded me in the end. Considering this experience, I will choose QEEQ again next time. I also advise everyone to have a single-currency card ready.

I still did not get back my 1000 EUR deposit. I dont know if you are actually reading this, but if you do, could you please call them, tell them that I am a customer and not a bank, and I need my money back? I returned the car fully fuelled in mint condition, the least they can do is to return my deposit on a timely manner. - On a separate note, the location they provide on the drop off spot is misleading (they say its on garage level -1 but there are two separate garages on -1 and we went to the wrong one.) Thanks.

They claimed the car was in the same group, but it was much smaller than the MPV group I reserved through RentalCars. It was just a hatchback. Renting a large car in Austria is difficult. We had five people and a child seat, so it was really cramped. I bought full insurance through RentalCars, and they still tried to sell me additional insurance at pick-up. Moreover, three charges were made; though the first two might be authorizations, it's been several days since I returned the car, and they haven't been refunded yet. I initially wanted to give a negative review, but the return service was excellent. They even helped us get a taxi, so I’m giving three stars for now.

The local rental company staff had a bad attitude. The rental agreement did not mention that dual-branded VISA or MasterCard credit cards cannot be used. When picking up the car, the staff said only single-branded VISA or MasterCard credit cards are accepted. I contacted the rental company but the local staff refused to help. This is a problem with the rental company, and I could not pick up the car even though I had already paid. Now, the rental company is not refunding my money.

This car rental company barely had any of the reserved models. Several of us booked Volkswagen Passat station wagons, but we were given Opel station wagons instead. Their attitude was very firm, saying that's the only car available. Even after trying to coordinate with the rental platform, nothing changed. It's unacceptable to bait customers with lower-priced Volkswagen cars and then provide something completely different. If possible, I would give a negative rating. One wise friend who didn't choose this company got the car he reserved even though he picked it up later. Infuriating! Also, we saw a low tire pressure warning on the dashboard. The desk staff tried to brush us off by saying it was because of the winter tires. We insisted on having the tires checked, and it turned out one tire was nearly half deflated. It needed to be reinflated. This desk staff could have put us in serious danger! Extremely irresponsible!

1. Significant discrepancy in order amounts: The amounts on the car rental site, the pickup invoice, and the post-swap invoice were completely different! At pickup, the staff gave me three different amounts! The last one was close to the amount shown by the rental site. 2. Overcharging: I noticed that the pre-authorization charge was significantly higher than the actual amount, so I verified multiple times with the car rental company. Finally, they told me the extra money would be refunded as a pre-authorization, but in reality, only €850 was refunded, and the rest was not returned! 3. Large unexplained charges: On October 19th, when I swapped the car, I was directly charged two amounts of $1271.39 each, totaling over $2500! I am currently communicating with the car rental company to find out why. 4. Confusion at pickup, meticulous at dropoff: During pickup, the staff asked me to inspect the car myself. After a round of inspection, I found discrepancies with the reported issues, such as a dent in the left door that didn't actually exist. When I asked a staff member to check, he was reluctant but eventually admitted it was an error. The dropoff was even more ridiculous; the staff circled the car multiple times and pointed out a tiny dent on the left door that I couldn't see even with glasses. They said it could be from someone else hitting my door. I was speechless!

The waiting time to get the car is long more than 1hr 15 mins as the car is not yet cleaned by AVIS although my booking made at 8:00AM. I got the car key at 9:15AM, which have delayed my trip plan and being late to my destination. However the car quality is good although the AVIS staff missed out some of the scratch marks which is not stated in the rental agreement, which is different experiences I have with other car rental companies. The staff at the car return location at Vienna have asked us to leave the car key without asking us to sign the documents and inspect the car condition which leave our obligation opened as I worried what if the car has problem after I returned the car key.

The staff was finishing their shift when I returned the car, so I had to drop the key in the box myself. The parking lot is underground and hard to find. There were no gas stations in the city, so I returned the car with one bar less on the fuel gauge and was charged for a full tank.
