Communication was not smooth. After informing that we did not purchase the Europecar recommended insurance, it took a very long time to explain, and the entire pickup process took nearly two hours. This insurance issue created potential problems later. We were charged RMB 12,900 for minor car scratches (surface scratches), which is outrageous. Not sure if the rental platform will cover this or not. I will never consider domestic insurance for foreign rentals again, it's time-consuming and stressful with all the compensation worries.
