My flight got cancelled (first leg of two) meaning I was delayed arriving at my destination, and so I contacted Europcar to inform of the delay. Unfortunately Europcar didn't inform the local operator at Tamworth, but fortunately he was at my flight for another customer anyway. No harm done. And he kindly gave me an upgrade to a larger vehicle. Also allowed me town rather than airport drop-off for no charge, which suited me better since I was leaving by train, not air. All the vehicles there were impacted by a large hailstorm several weeks before, but the vehicle worked just fine.
