Drop off time was not made very clear by the staff in Auckland. We were told to drop off in Wellington by 4pm and therefore not realizing the vehicle had to be dropped off by 12 noon as per the booking paperwork.
Damaged car but they were all itemised on the documents. Only half tank, again was on documents. Not pointed out at the time but wasn't a problem on return.

The car was very noisy and when noticed it was too late and far to return to replace. It appears that had been used extensively before, almost 100,000 miles. I was busy in my business purposes and short in time to call or replace it during the trip
Also the size of it was seem smaller and not at the level in the order of mid-size SUV.

Pickup was a little confusing as rental company does not have an office located at the airport, however we were picked up and taken to car promptly. Car presented was clean (an older model but in pristine condition). Drop off was very simple, we just had to take car where we picked it up and the agency came and collected it. Highly recommended

this is 2nd time using Qeeq, and I must say it's great. Pricing simple, usage of the app simple. Havent spoken to customer service and I hope I wont have to.

The issue at the Budget counter was....we were in Mexico when I booked and Budget had a problem with that...they didn't say why...just the way it was. The lady was bitchy and rude
Car had been smoked in previously and the smell did not diminish during the entire rental period, car seats and interior very stained.
This is the second occasion I have been given a car like this from this location, whilst the rental staff did explain there is nothing they can do to prevent this from occurring from other renters they do state they will charge for a clean if this does happen, this car had not been cleaned. It does seem if you book via a consolidator with Europ car rather than direct with them you won’t always be offered the best cars but that’s the cost of trying to save a few pounds against booking direct with Europ car.
Picking up the car was distressing. Despite having independent CDW insurance there was a hard sell for their own insurance to cover the excess. I was offered an automatic and larger car for €10 per day which I declined only to find that the car allocated already was automatic and spacious. It left me with a feeling that the process was fundamentally dishonest
when I arrived the airport, the first lady who picked up my call was not too helpful. However the lady who help with car-pick up was excellent and super friendly. I had a fairly wait to be drop off back to the airport after car return, could be lunch time short staff.
We booked a grand Cherokee jeep but you did not have in stock. The car we were offered was smaller without winter tyres. We had to upgrade to a premium car as it was our only choice which cost us double the original quote. Not impressed.

The questions here on qeeq are very misleading. Somehow it gives a score of 7, yet where is the question about whether I was ripped off or not? On that can I give -10 score? I brought the car back with a full tank with evidence to prove yet they charged me 19 gallons x ~$3.50 x 2 (133 usd) after I got on the plane. Hoping this is an honest mistake but no response from Budget this far. So essentially l my booking cost doubled.

The price booked for did not at all represent the price I paid. Thus far I have paid both Qeeq and Budget so the prepay has not be discounted. This again might be Budget's fault but it makes me lose faith in booking via an aggregate site rather than direct.
The online booking was easy. The shuttle from airport to car rental place was a very long wait! We saw many other shuttle companies multiple times before ours showed up- which was disappointing- the driver was super nice tho.
When we got there the people at the desk wanted our insurance policy for 3rd party rentals- which I got the email saying that BUT what they didn’t say was for how much! We had $100,000 covered but you wanted (and only provided this info on a sign when we walked into the car rental place) you wanted $300,000 and I believe not many people have that much coverage for a car rental b/c what car are you renting that cost $300,000! Therefore for us not to be stuck at the car rental we had to pay MORE money! Which was not in our budget!
