            Dear Team, Having recently used Easy Rent Cars I felt it necessary to get in touch and write reviews (which is a first for me) of our very bad initial experience with your supplier 'Easirent'. My wife and I recently arrived in Stansted Airport, London where we had reserved a hire a car with yourselves, which involves calling a number to get on your shuttle bus outside the airport which then takes customers to your car garage nearby. Once reaching the bus stop area outside (where we were told to get on the bus), we saw the bus and waived it down, the bus driver rolled his window down and said he "was full". As he drove past us to our utter bemusement my wife and I noticed he had several vacant seats. I then decided to call the number again for pick up and the gentlemen said there is only one driver and he will do a round trip which will take 20 minutes. After waiting outside in the cold for 20 minutes the bus arrives again with the same driver 'Tanase' where we finally got on and asked him why he didn’t let us on and say he was full when he had empty seats, he simply replied “I speak no English”! To say this was a lame excuse and the guy was totally rude and unprofessional is a huge understatement. With the visit to the UK for a family funeral the next day and after a 7 hour flight this bizarre attitude was the last thing we needed. When we arrived I mentioned what had just happened to one of the staff that was serving me at the desk, who apologised on his behalf and gave me an upgrade. I was not looking for an apology nor an upgrade, just simply relaying this on, as the whole experience was surreal and I'm sure if this happened to us, it's happening to other customers too that Tanase is supposedly meant to be picking up. Please ensure this gets feedback to Management, especially in your Stansted Airport, London branch. Regards,

            Why aren't there any reviews about whether this rental company is reliable? It's just garbage, the worst of the worst. I sincerely advise everyone never to use this company again. They are shameless, despicable, and have no integrity. I strongly suspect that they forged my signature. There were a lot of additional charges for insurance and fuel that I didn't notice on the first page when I signed. The final bill was several times more than the rental cost. It's unbelievable.

            The car was damaged on every single panel but not documented. I found a lot of clearly visible damage not in their documentation that I could have been held responsible for on return and been charged for if I hadn’t insisted on the damage being recorded properly. The car smelt of cigarettes and was dirty on the interior. The car was not inspected on its return just the mileage checked. Never using Hertz again.

            Waited over 30 minutes to be picked up and taken to the off airport Thrifty rental offices. When inspecting the vehicle we were told that we had to take this specific vehicle as that was the only one available! We stated that it was too small, impractical and not as described. We were informed that this was the only vehicle available and that there were no alternatives. The offices were away from the airport in an industrial area so we had no option to choose another car rental agency. The car was not suitable as it had too little boot space for two normal sized suitcases. The only way we could fit our luggage in was to collapse the rear seats leaving our valuables exposed and meant that we couldn't fit passengers in the rear. Had to make the best of a bad situation as we were left with no option. Not the outcome we were hoping for.

            Booked the rental for 8 am pick up only to find the office was still closed. Found telephone number on internet as no telephone number, help or advice to be found at the rental cabin. Called interrent and was told in a very dismissive tone, I would just have to wait until the staff got their. Not a good first impression at all. When staff appeared (8:15) no apology or even acknowledgment that I had been waiting for the 8am collection. Was given an upgrade to a “Mitsubishi” which was actually a MG3. No complaint about the car or the value for money but the service leaves a lot to be desired.
