11 Car Rental Brands at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

Rental did its job however I find it unflattering that rental was not cleaned prior to our reservation time. There was orange debri or dust through out the entire car as well as trash. Cup holders were not cleaned out nor was the vehicle wiped down. The AC vent cover was missing which was annoying because passengers cannot control their air flow. Vehicle also smelled like smoke so we took it upon ourselves to have the vehicle sprayed to eliminate the odor. Which should have been done on your end as well as a detailed clean of the car. Photos were taken as evidence as this was noticed upon entering the vehicle. Airport pick up is not the easiest so we for the most part assisted ourselves and had no time to request another accommodating vehicle as we waited an hour for this one. El auto fue una gran sorpresa, un BMW, impecable, increible, las vestiduras muy cuidadas, solo al principio tuvo una falla electrica donde recien salimos del aeropuerto nos marcó que necesitabamos ponerle anticongelante, tuvimos que ir a revisarlo y nos dijeron que traia una falla eléctrica que no nos preocuparamos. Toda la experiencia con el auto increible. Nos atendió Marissa en el mostrador, super amable, nos ayudo en todo momento,muchas felicidades un excelente servicio en todo momento.

Al momento de recoger el auto, nos entregaron un auto con la guantera rota. Lo hicimos saber al encargado y quisimos cambiarlo y nos dijeron que no tenían más autos disponibles y no era posible un upgrade. Accedimos forzados a tomar ese auto dañado pues no había opción. Solo apuntaron en nuestro contrato el daño en la guantera rota en el vehículo. Tres horas después se le cayó la defensa delantera al auto. Nos sentimos engañados con el auto que nos entregaron. Tuvimos que dirigirnos a otro concesionario dollar en otra ciudad con la consiguiente pérdida de tiempo para que nos cambiaran el auto. Mala experiencia y mal sabor de boca en la concesionaria del aeropuerto George Bush. El auto sustituto o de reposición que nos entregaron, estaba en muy buen estado y la atención del personal de mostrador fue bastante buena.

el coche bien, pero tarde 2:30 hrs de espera para que me tocara llegar al mostrador, (habían literal mas de 100 personas delante de mi en la fila) y el proceso una vez que llegue a mostrador fue fluido y muy rápido pero no puede ser que solo tengan dos personas para atender tanto flujo de pasajeros.

The car unfortunately was distinctly average. It was booked as a full size car. I was a little surprised how low to the ground and uncomfortable it was. The guy in the desk convinced me to buy a tank of gas. I never fall for this but he insisted it was the cheapest around. This was in fact a lie. All the gas stations around were cheaper. Lesson learnt, I won’t fall for this again. Even the gas stations close to the airport were 20-30 cents cheaper. I also emailed thrifty about the several chips on the windscreen that I was not happy about. They never emailed or contacted me back and I was nervous the whole trip because one had some very small cracks coming from it.

A different type of car was provided but it was still the size required, so fine with us. The car was clean on the inside but hadn’t been washed on the outside. The car was damaged upon collection and therefore we had to go back into the airport terminal to report this, which wasn’t ideal after a long flight landing late at night. The assistant was trying to sell additional extras that we did not require and even added on roadside assistance which we did not request, however upon contacting Avis customer services it has been agreed that this will be refunded. Luckily we got to the front of the queue, otherwise there would have been a long wait for collection.

Nice and neat car. Spacious for our luggage requirements. Relatively new vehicle. No queue at the pick up counter. The only downside is that the car pick up counter is located at the basement at a location away from the airport and hence it was inconvenient to reach there with so much luggage.

Worst rental car I have ever had and I have rented a lot of vehicles. Absolutely filthy. Spent 2 hours cleaning it when I got home before ever going on our trip. Will never rent from them again.

The staff was excellent esp Zahid (backend) and Curtis at front desk. First Silver Lacrosse we got had more than a dozen dings and was in poor shape from the outside. Second Red lacrosse was better but both lacrosse sedans were missin steering adjustment switches. If they get fresher inventory they ll be five stars over all.

the car was dirty windows so bad I could not see and I stopped and got cleaner to clean them dash and armrest were stickey from coffee or coke. low tire and guage was on and they said don't worry about it just drive it. it was the dirtiest car I have ever rented took an hr to get it when I arrived there after waiting at airport for 56 minutes and was told they were only 8 minutes away and I had to call 3 times to get them there

Had to wait for an hour to get a shuttle. Many regular shuttle buses came and went while I was waiting for the special one. I was taken to a very odd location, far from the regular rental agencies. I was told that their hours were 8-5. I was only in Houston for part of the day, and 100 miles. I had to drop the van at a diff. location. I was told that the 20$ fee would be waived. It wasn't. I called Ace. They never called me back. I e-mailed Easyrentcars.com, and the e-mails were not accepted.

I was unable to obtain communication with anybody on my arrival into Houston Bush on May 7th, and ended up renting from Advantage. Your phone system messaging was awful, un-intuitive; did I understand ACE offices close at 3:00pm??!!
