Much worse than Alamo. I rushed to the airport early in the morning to pick up the car, and while other companies were open, Hertz remained closed. When they finally opened, the procedures were extremely cumbersome. At Alamo, they just checked my documents briefly and handed over the keys. At Hertz, they took forever with unnecessary explanations and upselling, and told me that the tank wasn't full. They gave me the options of either buying a full tank or returning it with the same amount of fuel, which was a hassle and made me go get gas right after leaving the airport. They even charged me a $200 deposit, which hasn't been refunded after a week! The staff at Las Vegas during the return seemed to be from Hong Kong, couldn’t speak Mandarin, had a heavy accent in English, and had a bad attitude. I have no good impression of Hertz anymore. In short, I will never choose Hertz again!
