Behaviour of the Staff at customer service is good until you refuse to buy their offered trip protection insurance, once you refuse it their behaviour changes to being very rude. My customer service advisor literally threw the booking papers at me and told me to go downstairs to find your vehicle. That was shocking.

We had to pay to upgrade as the original car was too small. The car was expensive but proved ideal for our needs. Why did Thrifty acquire a car with cream leather. It has dirty marks on it that wouldn’t have shown so much on BBC a car with a dark leather interior. Otherwise it was a nice car.

Rented a Camry but wanted an AWD and had to pay 140USD for the 7 day rental to upgrade to a larger Mazda CX-90 SUV. To my horror on the 4 day of use the car was unable to open and it took us almost an hour before we could reach the budget service line. In the end budget arranged a mechanic which took 1.5 hours to arrive and we had to rush to the Sea-Tec for my wife's flight via uber. Budget arranged another replacement car at Sea-Tec but it was 100% confusion. The replacement car was not available, and was given a chevrolet sedan which I disagreed given the higher price I paid for the SUV. Took me another 45 min to find a replacement car which was a RAV4. The car had its maintenance light signal on the moment I entered the car but I had no choice little did I regret picking up this car which had wiper issues when I was driving down Whistler mountain on a rainy day. It was extremely dangerous for my entire family who were in the car who feared for their lives the entire journey. I am requesting a full investigation on the poor, unsafe cars on Budget!!!!

I rented a Ford Escape. The counter staff suggested that they would try to see if they could upgrade our car for free. They helped us upgrade to a Toyota 4Runner which was great. The staff claimed it would be free. But I was charged the upgrade free in the end which I overlooked in the small print and signed for.

The front desk agent Kate was friendly, efficient and thorough. The staff in the pickup / drop off zone were excellent as well. The only thing that made my trip a little less enjoyable was the flat tire, which I changed myself and my trip was cut short because I didn’t trust driving on a spare. So I had to return from 2 hours away and missed out on my Mount Ranier excursion. The staff are all excellent t in Customer service. However the tires on my rental were bald, please put more effort into making sure your customers are travelling in safety.

Ein Cashback für das kleinere Auto war bei HERTZ nicht möglich. Deshalb haben wir einen Claim über Qeeq eröffnet, der dann nach Wochen erfolgreich war.

We waited over an hour to pick up our car. The man in the counter was not especially nice or helpful at all, he didn’t care. We ended up changing the car at the Burbank airport in LA because the car was in poor condition. Noisy and really bad brakes, the car was dragging to the right so I had to parry to go straight. Tires was really worn down. We had planned a trip to the Nevada dessert and couldn’t risk getting stuck out there. However the women who helped us at Burbank airport was a real angel! She was super helpful and a real professional!

We had been advised on the phone that we would get a refund for unused days but this did not happen. In addition we have received an invoice for a surcharge since we got home -for what? Counter person was nice and asked me if I wanted insurance I said no(it was on my paperwork as well) She had me initial all the no's) went to the next step got in the car started driving made it to the first stop looked at my envelope that the counter girl gave me and she'd typed in ACCEPTED for a $25 per day insurance add on. I called and waited for 15 minutes to get a representative only for her to say 'you'll have to drive back to the airport to have them change this" I explained I was in route to an event miles from there, and I'd like to speak to her supervisor...she put me on hold and I waited 19 minutes before I hung up. Called again when I had a rest stop and got another agent that said I had to send in a claim to the headquarters? He gave me a case number. I took back the car at the end of my rental and explained to the return clerk what happened and within 30 seconds the fee was taken off. Almost an hour of unnerving and frustrating time spent. Seems like a common sense answer was ''sure, we'll handle this' ...Of course along with answering the phone after 3 - 4 rings. Suggestion, take them off your list...
