Hubo un problema de comunicación porque yo resido en Estados Unidos y por lo tanto cuento con mi licencia de conducir del estado de Nueva York. Por lo cual llamé a la compañía para preguntar sobre si era necesario llevar un pasaporte; ya que en ese momento no lo tenía conmigo y debido a que tengo la licencia de conducir estadounidense y me dijeron que no hacía falta. Sin embargo cuando lleguemos allí, me dijeron que como habíamos realizado una reserva española y obligatoriamente necesitábamos un pasaporte. Esto nos hizo tener que volver al alojamiento y nos hizo perder mucho tiempo y algo de dinero para volver a recoger el coche de nuevo.

No convertible available on pick-up so had to stay an extra night in San Francisco and use a temp rental car with additional bridge tolls. Had to return next day where "Prestige" staff were diabolical, at one point asking me how I thought I could get a refund for the 1 day lost using the Avis system. First Mustang had a rip through the side wall of one tyre which wasn't dealy with until I checked out of the parking lot - they advised me to change the vehicle, which we had to do for safety. Therefore, I actually hired 3 vehicles! At drop-off it was discovered that the pick-up location staff had not correctly applied the exchange rate of my stirling payment and had thought that I owed a one-way fee. Initial accusations from junior staff were then corrected by the Manager with no more to pay. Both pick-up (2 days) and drop-off caused much anxiety. However, thank you to Shy at Oakland and the Manager at Harry Reid.

Very pushy to upgrade the car as the one I had booked was not very good. So she told me. Offered me a upgrade for $130 a day. I said no. She then said I could have it for $70 as day. On principle I said no as I didn’t like her attitude. The first price should always be the best price. She got very grumpy and I left. We go a upgrade anyway as they didn’t have any of the cars I had book.

When I arrived at the counter, the first problem was the type of car they had for me. I specifically rented a Chevy Impala, but was told I was getting a Ford Fusion. When I asked why I wasn't getting an Impala, the girl told me they don't have Impalas, and acted like they don't even carry them. I reluctantly agreed to the Fusion, but then was told there is a $500 deposit because I'm a local! Why? That's the company's policy. Period. I'm a 64-year old grandmother, so are they afraid I'll take it? Makes absolutely no sense. So, I asked if there was a rental agency that did not charge a deposit. No. Okay, who has a smaller deposit? Well, you can try them (pointing to Dollar/Thrifty) or them (pointing to Avis). I walked to the next counter (Dollar/Thrifty) and asked for an Impala and how much was their deposit. Yes on the Impala with a $200 deposit. I was going to a funeral about 300 miles away, and didn't trust my older car, so it was important to me to have a comfortable car. I will NEVER do business with Fox again.

A bit of a wait to get a car as a vehicle was not immediately available for the size/class booked. In the end, they offered us a nominal discount to take a smaller car. Managed to get all our suitcases in the trunk, so eventually were on our way. All good.

We booked a luxury SUV (GMC) 20 days in advance and paid in full. When we arrived at the store, there was no arrangement for this vehicle. All 7 of us were forced into a Nissan 7-seater with no space for luggage, so we had to hold our luggage on our laps back to the hotel. They promised a car exchange the next day, took our US and China phone numbers and the hotel address, but no one contacted us. Strongly not recommended if you don't want to experience this helplessness at night. Complaint in progress!!!

First time picking up the car in Auckland, they aggressively pushed for insurance, asking us to add $400 for full coverage. After consulting with other car rental companies' Chinese customer service and our rental company's customer service, it was clear that this insurance was unnecessary. Very dissatisfied. When our car was broken into and items were stolen in San Francisco, we contacted the customer service of the rental company and Dollar, and were told to go to San Francisco airport to exchange the car. After driving for two hours to the airport, we were informed that there were no replacement vehicles available, only smaller cars. We had seven suitcases, and they expected us to fit everything in a small car. When we checked the parking lot ourselves, we clearly saw cars of the same class. We went back to the counter and were told there was only a five-seat Ford SUV available. I had booked a seven-seat luxury SUV and couldn't understand why they wouldn't give us a car of the same class when there were at least seven similar vehicles in the lot. They claimed that either they had no keys or were already reserved. I asked why I, as a pre-booked customer who arrived first, couldn't get one. The manager was called over, mumbled something, but kept insisting they could only offer a Nissan Armada or the Ford. Otherwise, we had to leave in the damaged car. After two hours, it was already dark, so we reluctantly took the bigger Nissan and left. I requested to swap the car in Las Vegas, but the store there refused, stating that they had already made an exchange and couldn't do anything further. This experience was utterly ridiculous! I am demanding compensation! They must compensate!

Sorry for the late review. I used QEEQ for the first time at the end of 2012. I booked a Chevrolet SUV with 800 miles on it through QEEQ from Dollar. Two hours later, it was flipped over at an intersection next to the west side police station in San Francisco. Thankfully, everyone was wearing seatbelts and no one was injured. The insurance I chose through QEEQ was very reliable. Dollar brought another car within 3 hours, and our trip wasn't delayed at all. I would give this car rental experience 6 stars.
