Even though I had a reservation for a SUV, that vehicle or anything similar was available. What was the purposes of a reservation was the question I asked the PAYLESS representative. She indicated that the “system” does not allow her to see what vehicles were reserved for that day. Supposedly employees don’t have access to view what cars are needed for customers with reservations. There was no attempt to find a vehicle which could accommodate 6 - 7 passengers. Employee did not check other PAYLESS sites in Wichita for a possible rental. It was a, sorry can’t help you, attitude. I ended up driving my car to Albuquerque. Very poor customer service and inadequate reservation system. Will never rent from PAYLESS or recommend PAYLESS to friends and family.
